School of Urban Railway Transportation and Guangzhou Metro Group Co., Ltd. held an exchange seminar

On May 25th, School of Urban Railway Transportation, Guangzhou Metro Group Co., Ltd., and Guangzhou Rail Transit Construction Supervision Co., Ltd. held an exchange and discussion at the Modern Transportation Engineering Center. The seminar was chaired by Hu Dingyu, Vice Dean of School of Urban Railway Transportation.

Wan Huilin, Party Secretary of School of Urban Railway Transportation, warmly welcomed the visit of experts led by Huang Hongdong from Guangzhou Metro Group Co., Ltd. She stated that both sides can fully leverage the respective resource advantages of schools and enterprises, and carry out all-round cooperation in talent cultivation, scientific research cooperation, and teacher co construction, achieving mutual benefit and win-win results. Professor Wang Anbin comprehensively introduced the relevant projects of his team's vibration and noise detection services for rail transit. Hu Dingyu, Vice Dean of School of Urban Railway Transportation introduced the overall overview of the college and the operation of the engineering research center platform to the attending experts.

Huang Hongdong, a second level expert of Guangzhou Metro Group, explained from a technical perspective the importance of environmental protection and operational safety projects for rail transit, as well as inspection, monitoring, and product quality certification for engineering quality and later operation and maintenance. Wang Hongdong, Executive Director and General Manager of Guangzhou Rail Transit Construction Supervision Co., Ltd., introduced the basic situation of the company and its subsidiary, Guangzhou Rail Transit Inspection, Testing and Certification Co., Ltd., and expressed a desire for cooperation in testing, standard research and development, and laboratory construction.

Before the meeting, experts from Guangzhou Metro Group Co., Ltd. and party and government leaders from the college visited the Rolling Contact Friction and Fatigue Laboratory, Wheel Rail/Bow Net Wear Evolution Laboratory, Rail Vehicle Virtual Simulation Laboratory, and Rail Transit Operation Safety Testing and Evaluation Service Center.
